Pillows &
Prosecco Picnic

Creating intimacy in the great outdoors. We couldn’t have asked for a more picturesque evening for this gorgeous styled picnic with Pillows & Prosecco at Gibbs Farm in St. Paul.

Fall prairie grass and golden-hour sunlight shining through the trees provided the perfect backdrop for our table-scape that showcased a sweet little cake centerpiece, roasted and grilled farmers market veggies, bountiful cheese boards, dainty desserts, and our own floral designs.

When we discovered Pillows & Prosecco on Instagram, we were drawn to the neutral style of their decor that could fit any occasion and color theme. This beautifully showcased our colorful fall food aesthetic.

A big challenge of outdoor events is lugging around all kinds of equipment, especially burdensome tables and chairs. By swapping chairs for pillows, set-up in a field was easy breezy. Though the great outdoors can feel like a big space for parties, gathering around a low table anchors the focus and gives place to an intimate and private space in the middle of a large outdoor area.

We often think of outside gatherings as large festivals, like the State Fair. But it is absolutely possible to create an intimate space for a small party in the great outdoors.
