Solar Arts by Chowgirls is a windowed, brick and timber venue with an industrial vibe located in a landmark sustainable building in Northeast Minneapolis. This spectacular and flexible space is ready to host weddings, galas, meetings, and other events for up to 400 people.
For over 11 years, Chowgirls has been championing sustainable food, building relationships with local farmers, and creating delicious, approachable menus our clients can be proud of. Our choices are arranged seasonally so we can share each item with you at the peak of its season!

Chowgirls strives for sustainability in all aspects of our business-it’s better for our local economy, our planet, and you! We source as our food as locally as possible and through composting, recycling, and reusing we divert about 97% of our waste.

Fiddlehead. Fern. Friday. Coincidence? We think not.
We're fiddlehead fans round these parts. These lovely little ferns (along with many, MANY more) were foraged by our Head Chef Becca, and made for a delicious pesto.
