August 2016

Let us count the ways that eQuality Farms in Buffalo, MN, is our favorite tomato grower! Not only do they grow cool varieties of organic cherry heirlooms, like Sun Golds, Black Pearls and Yellow Pears, they are also a nonprofit that offers job training, support and employment for adults with developmental disabilities

Scroll down to discover our Heirloom Tomato Tartlet recipe, featured in our upcoming cookbook, "Chowgirls Killer Party Food: Righteous Bites & Cocktails for Every Season".

Minnesota Bride Magazine's Best of 2016 Awards

For the ninth consecutive year, we've been honored with the title of BEST CATERER for a Small Wedding by Minnesota Bride Magazine! Everyone at Chowgirls puts their all into providing our clients with exceptional experiences, and being recognized for our hard work is a truly amazing feeling.

After sitting in on a weekly huddle at Zingerman's Roadhouse, dropped off a preview copy of Chowgirls Killer Catering cookbook at Nicola's Books - Ann Arbor's Premier Independent Book Store. Thx to everyone for being so kind and generous during my visit. Can't wait to come back with Amy Lynn Brown to see you all again in January for our book tour. 💗✌🏽️
A big thank you to all that braved the weather for our 13th Annual Corn and Brat Feed on Saturday! It was a rough start but in the end a successful fundraiser for the Northeast Minneapolis Farmers Market. Super big thanks to our event sponsors Kramarczuk's and Chowgirls Killer Catering and to our vendors who supplied the amazing condiments that dressed up the corn and brats: Creature Comfort Hot Sauce, Blum Loco, The Beez Kneez, LLC, Grlk, K-Mama Sauce, LLC, Natasha's Pierogi, and Fierce Ferments! We look forward to the 14th Annual Corn and Brat Feed - rain or shine!
